Privacy Policy

YWYG Studios LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates Runway Heroes (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our App.

Information We Collect

Runway Heroes does not require account creation or login. We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable contact information. The App may collect the following types of data:

Advertising Identifiers: With your consent, we may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) to deliver personalized ads through Google AdMob.

Purchase History: When you make an in-app purchase, Apple processes the transaction. We receive confirmation of the purchase but do not have access to your payment details or credit card information.

Device Information: We may collect basic device data such as device model, operating system version, approximate (coarse) location derived from your IP address, and crash logs to improve app performance and measure advertising.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services that may collect data:

Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings. Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Tenjin: Used for mobile measurement and attribution — to understand which advertising campaigns lead to app installs. Tenjin may collect device identifiers, IP address, and in-app event data to attribute installs and measure advertising performance. Tenjin's privacy policy: https://tenjin.com/privacy/

Advertising and Tracking

We use Google AdMob to display optional rewarded advertisements. Before collecting your advertising identifier, the App will request your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. You may decline, and the App will continue to function normally. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized.

To measure the performance of our advertising campaigns in a privacy-preserving way, we also use mobile attribution services (including Tenjin) and Apple's SKAdNetwork framework, which reports aggregated campaign results without identifying you individually.

GDPR Compliance (European Users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the App will present a consent dialog on first launch, powered by Google's User Messaging Platform, allowing you to choose whether to consent to personalized advertising and data collection. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and whether it is sold or shared. We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of advertising identifiers and approximate location for personalized advertising may be considered "sharing" or a "sale" under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). You can opt out at any time by declining the App Tracking Transparency prompt or disabling tracking in your device's privacy settings.

Children's Privacy

Runway Heroes is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Data Retention

Game progress is stored locally on your device. We do not store personal data on external servers.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information for money or share it except as described in this policy. To deliver and measure advertising, we share certain data (such as advertising identifiers and approximate location) with our advertising and attribution partners (Google AdMob and Tenjin); this sharing may be considered a "sale" or "share" under certain privacy laws. Data collected by these third-party services (Google AdMob, Tenjin, Apple) is governed by their respective privacy policies. You can opt out via the App Tracking Transparency prompt and your device settings.

Your Rights

You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by going to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking on your iOS device. You may also reset your advertising identifier through Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
